Introduction

The environmental policy is one of the areas of action of the European Community more successful. Never the less, it is the area with the highest percentage of breach of community legislation. 

The environmental policy helps to protect the European nature, encourages to the companies to make the economy of the EU more ecological and protects the health and the well-being of the inhabitants of the EU. 

  The Community System of Management and Environmental Audit (EMAS)

is an instrument of management for companies and other organisms, used to evaluate the respect of the Environment of the managerial activities and to improve the presentation of the same ones from the environmental point of view. His intention is of recognizing and rewarding those organizations that go beyond the minimal adaptability legally demanded and that constant improve her. In addition, it is required that the organizations that take part in the System elaborate regularly a public report in which they orientate on his activities from an environmental perspective.
